EXCLUSIVE: Amit Sial Says Babil Khan Feels the Pressure of His Father Irrfan Khan’s Legacy — Here’s Why
2025 has been a big year for actor Amit Sial, thanks to his strong performances in Kesari Chapter 2 and Raid 2. In an exclusive interview with Hindi Rush, Amit opened up about his Qala co-star Babil Khan and a viral video where Babil was seen crying.
Amit Sial shared his thoughts, saying that Babil is a kind, talented, and well-educated young man who wants to do well in life. But, according to Amit, Babil carries a heavy emotional burden — the legacy of his late father, Irrfan Khan.
He said,
“Babil is dealing with a huge legacy. Irrfan bhai is no longer with us. Sometimes I myself deeply miss him after watching his work — the kind of mark he left is unforgettable.”
Amit also spoke about how lonely Babil might feel without his father and how his big dreams may be affecting his mental health. Drawing from his own life, Amit shared that he also went through confusion and struggle until the age of 30.
He added,
“Back then, there was no social media. If there had been, I would’ve probably shared even more emotional videos than Babil. We shouldn’t judge someone just based on one video or moment.”
Amit Sial has been part of the Hindi film industry for many years. He has earned respect for his strong acting in both movies and web series. Some of his popular roles include Lallan Sudheer in Raid and Raid 2, Tirath Singh in Kesari Chapter 2, and IPS Ram Sharan Maurya in Mirzapur.
