Kaun Banega Crorepati 16: Amitabh Bachchan Shares Childhood Memory of Getting Scolded by His Parents
In the latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, host Amitabh Bachchan talked about an incident from his childhood when he got a big scolding from his parents. The actor also shared some life lessons from his father that he still follows.
A Special Guest on KBC 16
The episode started with a special segment called “Kahani Jeet Ki.” Former KBC contestant Arunoday Sharma, a young boy from Shimla, made a surprise appearance. Arunoday had previously participated in KBC 2021 and joined Amitabh Bachchan on stage.

Usually, when kids come on the show, KBC scans their aspirations, goals, and habits. But this time, Arunoday reversed the process and scanned Amitabh Bachchan’s brain instead! Five folders appeared on the screen:

When the “Inspiration” folder opened, a picture of young Amitabh Bachchan with his parents appeared. Talking about them, Big B said he was blessed to have such wonderful parents and that everything he has today is because of their love and blessings.
Arunoday then asked him, “When did you get scolded the most?”
Amitabh laughed and recalled a childhood memory:
👉 “Whenever it rained, especially during the first rain of the season, my friends and I used to go out and play. We would get completely wet and throw mud at each other. We would even bring the mud inside, making the whole house dirty!”
He continued:
👉 “When my parents saw the mess and asked who did it, I had to clean it all up. That was the worst scolding I ever got!”
