The entire nation is celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi, with people welcoming Lord Ganesha into their homes. Ananya Panday joined in the festivities, sharing moments as she and her family sought blessings from Lord Ganesha.
On September 7, Ananya celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi by welcoming Lord Ganpati into her home. She posted several pictures on Instagram, wishing her fans a happy Ganesh Chaturthi.
In the first image, Ananya is seen standing next to Lord Ganesha’s idol, her hands folded in prayer, smiling for the camera. The prayer area was beautifully decorated with white and green flowers, and a flower platter was placed nearby. The next photo gave a closer look at Lord Ganesha, followed by more pictures of Ananya herself. The final pictures showed her with her parents, Chunky Panday and Bhavana Pandey. She captioned the post, “Welcome home Bappa,” along with various emojis, and added a devotional song, Gajanan Sukh Karta Dukh Harta, as the background music.
For the occasion, Ananya wore a teal floral kurta set with gold accents on the dupatta and shirt. She kept her look simple, without makeup, and tied her hair in a bun. Her mother, Bhavana, wore a red printed kurti with her hair down, while her father, Chunky, opted for a white printed shirt and matching pants.
On the professional front, Ananya is enjoying the release of her new show Call Me Bae, directed by Collin D’Cunha. The show features a star-studded cast, including Muskkkaan Jaferi, Virdas, Vihaan Samat, Varun Sood, Gurfateh Pirzada, Niharika Lyra, Mini Mathur, and Lisa Mishra. Currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video, Call Me Bae tells the story of Bella, a girl born into a wealthy family, who has to start over in Mumbai after losing all her privileges. The show is filled with humor and follows her journey of adapting to a new life.
