Ankit Gupta finally speaks up about breakup rumors with Priyanka Chahar Choudhary: “Any third person…”
Fans of PriAnkit — the popular pair of Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Ankit Gupta — were heartbroken when news of their breakup spread online. Although the two never officially confirmed their relationship, it was widely believed that they were dating. The rumors got stronger after both of them unfollowed each other on social media.
Recently, Priyanka reacted to the news. Now, Ankit has finally spoken about it too.
At the Bombay Times Fashion Week 2025, Ankit was asked about his alleged breakup with Priyanka. He responded by saying that their bond is something personal and should stay between the two of them. Ankit said:
“Whatever it is, it has always been between two people. It is between two people, and it always will be. We cannot allow, nor do we allow, any third person to get into our… whatever it is.”
Priyanka and Ankit first became close on the sets of Udaariyaan, and their bond grew stronger during their time on Bigg Boss 16. Their friendship and affection for each other were very visible, which made fans fall in love with them even more.
However, the recent developments — especially them unfollowing each other — have made many fans believe that something is not right between them. While neither of them has confirmed the breakup, their words hint that all is not well.
Earlier, Priyanka also spoke out on social media about how people were focusing too much on her personal life. In an Instagram story, she wrote:
“If only work got the same attention as private matters, this industry would be unstoppable.”
Meanwhile, Ankit also stepped away from the TV show Tere Ho Jaayein Hum, which is produced by Sargun Mehta and Ravi Dubey — both close to him and Priyanka.
On the work front:
Ankit was last seen in the show Maati Se Bandhi Dor. After his breakout role in Udaariyaan, he appeared in many popular shows like Junooniyatt and Bigg Boss 16.
