Sudesh Lehri’s Surprise Meeting with Anupam Kher on Flight; Actor Shares He’s a Fan of the Comedian’s Simple Humor
Comedian Sudesh Lehri, known for his role on the comedy show Laughter Chefs: Entertainment Unlimited, had a special moment when he met Bollywood actor Anupam Kher during a flight from Delhi to Mumbai. Overjoyed by the encounter, Sudesh shared a video of their interaction on social media.
In the video, which Sudesh posted on September 17, he starts by expressing his excitement: “Friends, I’m so happy today because I met my favorite actor.” As an in-flight announcement interrupts him, Sudesh humorously points at Anupam Kher, sitting next to him, clarifying that he’s not talking about the voice but about the actor himself.
Sudesh continues, saying, “Sir, I’m so happy today. I’ve watched all your movies. If I’ve missed any, please tell me if there are new ones coming.” He also mentions that both of them had different shows in Delhi and are now heading home.
Sudesh captioned the video, “Friends, look how happy I am today.” In response, Anupam Kher shares his appreciation for Sudesh’s work, saying, “I really enjoyed meeting you. I listened to what you said. Your simplicity and humor—I’m a fan of it. Your humor is so effortless, and I really liked that.”
This heartwarming exchange clearly made Sudesh’s day. The comedian, who is currently a part of Laughter Chefs, expressed his gratitude and said that he has learned a lot from Kher and continues to be inspired by him.
