Anupamaa Written Update, January 15: Rahi Confronts Mrs. Kothari After Her Warning

In the upcoming episode of Anupamaa, Anupama and Rahi witness Gautam misbehaving with Prathana. Meanwhile, Anupama begins to think about the connection between Prathana and Prem.

The episode starts with Rahi feeling confused as Parag and Mrs. Kothari stare at them. Mrs. Kothari tells Anupama and Rahi to start working. Ansh gets upset when his game presentation gets leaked, and his idea is stolen. He tells Hasmukh that he wanted to help Anupama with Rahi’s wedding by contributing his share. Ansh then gets a call about the Kothari family starting a game venture and decides to present his idea to them.

Ansh feels happy and informs Hasmukh that he will pitch his idea to the Kothari family and dreams of working with them. Hasmukh encourages him, saying he will do well. Anupama and Rahi are then dropped off in the backyard by the staff and are told to cook there. They begin preparing food. Jankee arrives with co-workers to help with the cooking. Rahi talks about Khyati’s strict mother-in-law.

Anupama tells Jankee that the lady they fought with earlier is Mrs. Kothari. Prathana is surprised to meet Anupama and reveals she is Parag’s daughter. Gautam arrives and scolds Prathana for wearing outdated jewelry, telling her to wear new pieces. Rahi gets angry at Gautam’s rude behavior towards Prathana. Meanwhile, Anupama wonders why Prem lied about not knowing Prathana.

Parag’s younger brother and his wife visit Parag and Khyati. Parag is happy to meet them. Mahi finds a photo of Rahi and Prem and becomes emotional after seeing “I love you” written behind it. Parag meets Prathana and Gautam. Mrs. Kothari starts a pooja, and Anupama, Rahi, and Jankee join in. Anupama admires the temple and prays for Rahi. After the pooja, Mrs. Kothari offers sweets to Anupama, Rahi, and Jankee.

Mrs. Kothari then tells Anupama to maintain hygiene while cooking and asks if any of the women are on their periods. She warns them not to cook if they are. Rahi, feeling angry, questions Mrs. Kothari, asking if Yashoda didn’t cook for Krishna during her periods. Mrs. Kothari gets upset with Rahi, but Anupama stops Rahi and continues with the cooking. Mrs. Kothari tells Parag that some people question tradition, and Parag responds that lower-class people have no right to question. The episode ends.
