Anupamaa Written Update, January 20: Did Prem Reveal the Truth to Rahi?
In tonight’s episode of Anupamaa, emotions ran high as Prem confronted his family for disrespecting Anupama and Rahi. He made it clear to Parag Kothari that he would not return to his family home.
Rahi Supports Anupama
Rahi comforted Anupama, who was heartbroken after losing the Kothari contract. She assured Anupama that things would improve because Prem was on their side. Rahi also encouraged Anupama to forget about Parag and focus on positive outcomes.
Prem Stands Up to His Family
Meanwhile, Prem told his father and the Kothari family about his decision to marry Rahi. He warned Parag not to harm Anupama or Rahi, threatening to cut ties with the Kothari empire if he did. Despite his family’s emotional pleas, including Mrs. Kothari’s fall while trying to stop him, Prem remained firm.
Khyati’s actions angered Prem further, and he blamed her for the rift in their family. Parag, enraged by Prem’s attitude, scolded him. Still, Prem left, refusing to stay with his family. Gautam tried to manipulate Parag by suggesting that Anupama and Rahi were using Prem because of his wealth.
Prem Opens Up to Rahi
At the Shah house, Prem revealed to Rahi that he was upset about how the Kotharis treated her and Anupama. Rahi noticed his mood and gently asked why he was so upset. Prem admitted he was hiding something but promised to tell her the truth at the right time.
Finally, Prem confessed that he is Parag Kothari’s son and that his father mistreated his late mother, Gayatri. However, when Prem turned to Rahi, she had already left to be with Anupama. She later returned with a cup of tea, which cheered Prem up as he admired her love and care.
Ansh and Pari’s Concern
Ansh, upset by the conflict with the Kothari family, shared his worries with Pari. He reassured her that the Kotharis wouldn’t learn about his connection to Anupama and Rahi because his surname is Shah.
Parag Digs Deeper
Meanwhile, Gautam provided Parag and Mrs. Kothari with information about Anupama’s life, including her past with Anuj Kapadia. Parag decided to meet Anupama to discuss his findings, leaving Mrs. Kothari worried about Prem’s involvement with the Shah family.
The episode ended with Parag calling Anupama to arrange a meeting.
