In the Anupamaa episode from October 18, Rahi crosses paths with Prem again, accidentally dropping his phone into water. Meanwhile, Anupama reaches Dwarka.
The kids at the orphanage are preparing for Rahi, also known as Aadhya’s, birthday. Rahi remembers past birthdays with Anupama and Anuj, which makes her sad. She tells everyone she doesn’t want to celebrate her birthday and instead asks them to celebrate Dussehra.
While traveling on the bus with Ansh, Anupama imagines seeing Aadhya. In her vision, Aadhya accuses Anupama of not trusting her and calling the police on her. Anupama explains she never called the police and always believed in her. However, young Aadhya in the vision blames her for not looking for her after she ran away. Anupama breaks down, pleading for Aadhya to return. She then realizes it was all a dream.
Back at home, Toshu is frustrated with work and argues with Dolly. Maahi offers them a dish to taste, but Dolly firmly asks her not to disturb them. Pari wants to try it, but Kinjal scolds Maahi, saying Pari is gaining weight.
At the orphanage, Rahi expresses her anger toward Anupama but knows she has to be strong for the children. She arrives at the orphanage just as some goons are throwing things outside. Furious, Rahi grabs a rod to confront them. The orphanage owner, Vyas, begs the goons for more time to repay the money, and they leave for now.
Meanwhile, Anupama reassures Toshu, who is worried about a big order. At the orphanage, Vyas asks Rahi to pick up a client from the bus stop, not knowing the client is Anupama and Ansh. Rahi encounters Prem again, who demands she retrieve his phone from the water. She gets scared and jumps in when the police arrive, damaging her own phone.
Later, Rahi arrives at the bus stop but can’t find the client. She asks Vyas for the client’s phone number and learns they are from Ahmedabad, which makes her hesitant. Meanwhile, a thief steals Anupama’s wallet. Rahi runs after the thief, while Prem bumps into Anupama. Anupama tells Prem about the robbery, and together they chase the thief. Anupama takes charge of the bike, with Prem riding behind her, as the episode ends.
