‘After months of harassment…’: Rupali Ganguly’s Stepdaughter Esha Verma Speaks Up About Being Judged and Mentally Affected

In a series of emotional Instagram stories, Esha Verma broke down while sharing the mental and emotional pain she’s been going through. She said that she feels constantly scrutinized and judged just for trying to share her side of the story. Even though she’s trying to move forward, some days are extremely hard.

She also shared that sometimes, even her own family has made her feel like an outsider. All she wants is to live her life peacefully, but instead, she feels attacked and misunderstood.

Esha mentioned that no matter what she does—whether she speaks out, stays silent, or tries to enjoy a happy moment—she still feels targeted. She says many people, especially those not even involved in her situation, judge her and side with someone she believes is not being genuine.

Esha said she doesn’t want anyone else to go through what she did. She’s still mourning her father’s death, and said that during such a tough time, instead of getting love and support from her family, she was deeply let down.

Talking about her childhood, Esha said it was filled with silence, confusion, and emotional pain that didn’t even belong to her. She shared, “When the truth came out loudly, I was the one blamed. I was scared. I was unprotected. And instead of being supported, I was shamed. But after months of harassment, I am standing my ground.”

For those who don’t know, in 2020, Esha had claimed that Rupali Ganguly was the reason behind her parents’ separation. She also said that Rupali once stayed in the same bedroom that her parents shared, during a visit to their home in New Jersey.

After these serious claims, Rupali Ganguly filed a defamation case against Esha, saying the accusations harmed her public image and career. She even demanded Rs 50 crore in damages.
