Apoorva Mukhija Breaks Silence, Shares She Received R*pe and Acid Attack Threats After India’s Got Latent Controversy

Social media influencer Apoorva Mukhija, also known as The Rebel Kid, has finally spoken up after being targeted online following the India’s Got Latent controversy. She revealed that she received death, r*pe, and acid attack threats because of a comment she made during the show.

Apoorva, who had been silent on social media since the controversy began, returned to Instagram to share screenshots of disturbing messages she received. The screenshots showed hateful comments and violent threats sent to her through direct messages and on her posts while she was offline.
Some of the messages included serious r*pe threats and even threats of acid attacks, all because of a remark she made on the show. In her caption, she wrote,
“And that’s not even 1%,”
showing that the abuse was much worse than what she posted.

Apoorva, who has over 3 million followers, is known for her vlogs and relatable content. After the controversy, she had deleted all her posts and unfollowed everyone. But now, she is back on Instagram with a strong message. In one of her posts, she wrote:
“Don’t take away the story from the storyteller.”
