The Traitors: 5 Shocking Things Apoorva Mukhija Revealed Behind the Scenes – From Uorfi Javed’s Abuse to Raj Kundra’s Eviction
Apoorva Mukhija, also known as The Rebel Kid, is in the spotlight after her heated fight with Uorfi Javed on the reality show The Traitors. What started as a friendly bond between the two quickly turned sour in episode 3, when Uorfi said Apoorva wasn’t on her “level.” Since then, their arguments have caught a lot of attention online.
Now, Apoorva has shared some surprising behind-the-scenes moments from the show that fans didn’t get to see. From personal struggles to calling out fellow contestants, here are five big revelations she made:
1. Apoorva Was Nervous About Joining the Show
Apoorva joined The Traitors in September 2024 and said she was unsure about participating. At just 23 years old, she felt nervous to be among big names from the entertainment industry and feared she might get eliminated in the first episode. But a close friend encouraged her to go ahead and play confidently.
2. She Had a Fight With Her Parents Before the Show
In a vlog, Apoorva shared that she had an argument with her parents before entering the show and wasn’t in contact with them. Since The Traitors is a reality show, she didn’t have her phone with her and was only allowed three calls during the entire shoot. When she later wanted to call her mother because she missed her, the makers didn’t allow it due to the rules in her contract.
3. Her Ugly Fight With Uorfi Javed
Apoorva said that she never trusted Uorfi from the start. She felt Uorfi looked down on influencers and only respected people from big celebrity families. Apoorva explained:
“If I were Maheep Kapoor, Uorfi would respect me. But I’m just an influencer who made it on her own, so I knew she wouldn’t.”
Things got worse when Apoorva was upset and didn’t want to talk. Uorfi asked her what was wrong, and Apoorva requested five minutes to herself. Uorfi lost her temper and shouted at her. When Apoorva said, “Not everything is about you, Uorfi,” the fight escalated. Uorfi even yelled, “Bhn**d Apoorva idhar aao,” which left Apoorva shocked.
4. Apoorva Disliked Sufi – Then Became Friends
At the beginning of the show, contestants had to pick someone they trusted. Apoorva made it clear she didn’t trust Sufi Motiwala at all. She said they didn’t get along and recalled that he once made an inappropriate comment about her at a party.
Later, when things got tense between her and Uorfi, Sufi reached out to her and said:
“We’re the youngest here and the only content creators. I’ve got your back.”
He hugged her, and that’s when their friendship began to grow.
5. She Helped Evict Raj Kundra and Felt Bad for Karan Kundrra
Apoorva revealed she suspected Raj Kundra of being a traitor right away but was nervous about saying it out loud. She even wrote “stop talking” on her hand to remind herself to stay quiet. She had prepared a long speech exposing Raj, but it was edited out from the show.
About Karan Kundrra, Apoorva said many thought he was hiding something because he was too quiet. When she had to vote him out, she felt really sad, especially after he left her a small gift. She called Karan “the sweetest person” and said he didn’t take anything personally.
