Ashish was spotted in public for the first time in a while on March 10 when paparazzi clicked him outside a gym. He even greeted the photographers and had a short conversation with them. Before this, he also posted a video on Instagram, saying that he is bravely facing the situation and requested his fans to pray for his family.

The controversy started when inappropriate comments were made on Samay Raina’s show, India’s Got Latent by Ranveer Allahbadia, Apoorva Mukhija, Ashish Chanchlani, and others. Their remarks about parental relationships and women’s bodies caused a massive public outcry.
Following the backlash, an FIR was filed in Assam against Samay Raina and the show’s guests, including Ranveer Allahbadia, Apoorva Mukhija, and Ashish Chanchlani, accusing them of making obscene remarks. Due to this, Samay Raina deleted all episodes of India’s Got Latent from YouTube.
