Writing for Asur 3 is Complete
During the chat, the 41-year-old actor was asked about the progress on Asur 3. Barun shared that the writing for the third season has just been completed. However, the team has not started shooting yet, so fans will need to wait a little longer. He confirmed that Asur Season 3 is definitely happening.
How Asur Changed His Image
Barun also talked about how Asur changed the way people looked at him. Before the show, many didn’t see him as a serious actor. But after Asur, that perception changed. He praised the show’s strong writing and recalled how he reacted when he was first offered the role.
“It was very well-written. Honestly, when they approached me, I thought, ‘Why are they taking me? This is such a good script,’” Barun said with a laugh.
He also joked that if someone argued with him about whether he should have been cast in the show, they might win. But he was only referring to the casting—not the acting—saying that comes later. He ended by saying he feels lucky to have been part of it.
