Babil Khan Says ‘I Slit My Wrist for Him’ After Director Sai Rajesh Criticizes His Team’s Statement About Viral Crying Video
🔔 Trigger Warning: This article talks about self-harm.
After Babil Khan’s emotional crying video went viral, many people from the film industry shared their support. His team also released a statement to explain the video. But not everyone was convinced. Filmmaker Sai Rajesh openly criticized the statement online, which deeply hurt Babil. The Logout actor responded with shocking claims, saying, “I slit my wrist for him,” though his comments were later deleted.
Babil’s team had earlier shared that the actor mentioned names like Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Raghav Juyal, Adarsh Gourav, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Arijit Singh in the video because he genuinely respects and admires them. But filmmaker Sai Rajesh didn’t agree with the statement. He wrote a long note on Instagram questioning whether the rest of the people who supported Babil were being ignored. He asked, “Are the rest of us just fools for standing by him all this while?”
Babil, clearly upset, replied in the comments section, saying, “You really broke my heart. After everything I’ve given to you.” He said he had dedicated two years of his life to working with Rajesh and had gone through “physical pain” to fully become the character the filmmaker wanted.
Babil added that he went through tough living conditions and personal suffering just to satisfy Rajesh’s vision. He wrote, “I had bugs in my beard because the character needed it. I gave him my laughter while holding back my tears. I slit my fu**ing wrist for him.”
These powerful words shocked fans, but Babil later deleted the comments.

In his original post, Colour Photo director Sai Rajesh said, “Do you think we’re that naive to just walk away silently? Are only the people he mentioned in the video worthy of respect? What about the rest of us?” He added, “If you’re giving value only to those who were name-dropped, then yes—we deserve an apology for how this was handled.”
