Actress and model Himanshi Khurana, known for her time on Bigg Boss 13, is facing a tough situation. Her father, Kuldeep Khurana, has been arrested and sent to 14 days of judicial custody. The arrest follows a complaint filed against him five months ago for allegedly abusing a government official during elections.
What Happened?
According to reports, the incident occurred during the MP elections in Guriya. Naib Tehsildar Jagpal lodged a complaint, claiming that Kuldeep Khurana verbally abused and physically assaulted him while he was on his way to perform his duties. A staff member accompanying the official recorded the entire incident on a phone, which was later used as evidence.
The case was under investigation for months. The police conducted several raids but couldn’t find Khurana. However, they eventually arrested him at his residence after receiving a tip-off. Guraiya Police Station SHO, Palwinder Singh, confirmed that the charges involve obstructing a government official on duty.
