Bigg Boss 18: Is Chaahat Pandey’s Mystery Man a Gujarati? Here’s Why We Think So
In the latest episode of Bigg Boss 18, Salman Khan joked about Chaahat Pandey’s love life and her mother’s claim that she has no boyfriend. Here’s what happened.
During Family Week, Chaahat Pandey’s mother entered the house and confronted Avinash Mishra for making disrespectful comments about her. She called him a ‘womanizer’ and made it clear that Chaahat would marry only the man she chooses. She also mentioned that Chaahat doesn’t have a boyfriend. This led to a lot of talk about her love life. Even Avinash was heard discussing it.
In the latest episode, Salman Khan teased Chaahat about her secret relationship, which didn’t match what her mother had said. During the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Salman was talking to the housemates about Family Week. He praised Chaahat’s mother and joked that she could be a great contestant on Bigg Boss and even win the show.
Then, Salman asked Chaahat, “Aapki shaadi kis se fix ki hai unhone?” (Who has your mom fixed your marriage with?). Chaahat responded, “Abhi fix nahi ki hai, woh dhoondh rahi hai” (It’s not fixed yet, but she’s looking for someone).
Salman then recalled what Chaahat’s mother had said, implying that Chaahat would marry anyone her mother chose—even a blind man. Chaahat agreed with a smile, and Salman playfully asked, “Su waat karu chhu?” (What are you saying?). This switch to Gujarati made Chaahat a bit confused, and the other contestants started teasing her.
Things became even more interesting when Chaahat admitted that she doesn’t know Gujarati. Salman joked that she would eventually learn the language. The housemates laughed, and Rajat joked, “Tabhi kehti hai Ahmedabad Milungi” (That’s why she says I will meet you in Ahmedabad). Karan Veer Mehra added, “Chaahat ben, Gujarati Manus. Khub saras che” (Chaahat, you are a Gujarati person. Very good).
Chaahat kept asking Salman not to bring up the topic anymore, but the housemates kept having fun with it. Could there be a connection to Gujarat in Chaahat’s mystery man? The fans will have to wait and see!
