Bigg Boss 18, Dec 31 Written Update: Bharti Singh Teases Abhishek Kumar and Samarth Jurel About Isha Malviya
In the New Year special episode of Bigg Boss 18, the show welcomed special guests Abhishek Kumar and Samarth Jurel from Laughter Chefs. Along with them, comedian Bharti Singh joined the episode and added her humor to the evening. Bharti even teased the duo by bringing up Isha Malviya’s name, sparking playful moments.
Guests Enter the House
Abhishek and Samarth entered the house, greeting all the contestants warmly. Abhishek shared a tight hug with Karan Veer Mehra, who jokingly called them the channel’s “nepo kids.” Bharti Singh added to the fun by asking, “Tell me, who is Isha here?”
Abhishek tried to steer the conversation away, saying there were many other topics to discuss. However, Bharti reminded him about Eisha Singh, another contestant in Bigg Boss 18. Eisha jokingly asked Abhishek, “Have you forgotten me?” to which he replied, “How can I forget you?”
Throwback to Bigg Boss 17 Drama
Karan Kundrra teased Samarth Jurel, asking, “Tu kya bolke aaya hai? (What did you tell them before coming?)” For those unfamiliar with the backstory, Isha Malviya, a contestant from Bigg Boss 17, was shocked when Samarth entered as a wildcard contestant. At the time, Isha and Samarth were in a relationship, but Isha accused him of lying about their status. She later admitted they were dating.
During Bigg Boss 17, Abhishek and Samarth were rivals, as Abhishek was in love with Isha, while Samarth was dating her. Their arguments and clashes were a major highlight of the season.
Friendship Over Rivalry
In the current season, Abhishek revealed that he and Samarth are now close friends. He said, “Humare bich ek shaks nikal gaya aur ab hum bohot close ho chuke hai (One person who was between us has gone, and now we’ve become very close).” The two are now partners on Laughter Chefs and seem to have left their rivalry behind.

The housemates nominated this week are Kashish Kapoor, Shrutika Arjun, Avinash Mishra, Eisha Singh, Vivian Dsena, Rajat Dalal, and Chaahat Pandey.
