Bigg Boss 18: Why Shrutika Arjun Said ‘I Would Never Forgive Yamini Malhotra’ and Called Shilpa Shirodkar ‘Mithi Churi’
Shrutika Arjun recently spoke exclusively to Pinkvilla after leaving Bigg Boss 18 just before the grand finale. She shared her thoughts about her time on the show, the elimination of Digvijay Rathee, her relationship with Karan Veer Mehra, and her opinions on the friendship between Vivian Dsena, Eisha Singh, and Avinash Mishra.
Shrutika Talks About Yamini’s Comments
Shrutika joined Bigg Boss 18 because of Salman Khan, whom she calls a “gem.” During the show, Yamini Malhotra made a comment about Shrutika’s difficult relationship with her mother and her financial situation, which shocked Shrutika. She said, “I would never forgive Yamini for that.” She explained that Yamini misrepresented her life and added, “I won’t lower myself to her level.” Shrutika praised her mother, mentioning how her mom sacrificed her career for her children and how she’s still strict with Shrutika, even taking permission from her parents.
Family Life and Financial Comments
Shrutika addressed the comments on her financial status, explaining that she comes from a well-off family, especially compared to her dad, who supports the entire family. She shared that her parents are old-fashioned and don’t visit her home since she’s married, which is why they meet in cafes. Shrutika emphasized that she wants to make her parents proud and work hard to support them.
Digvijay Rathee’s Elimination
Shrutika spoke about her bond with Digvijay Rathee, which started well but became strained after a small argument. She said that Digvijay accused her of betraying him during the elimination task and even called her “ghatiya aurat” (bad woman). Shrutika explained that she ranked the contestants based on their contributions, but it later turned into an elimination task. She felt bad that she didn’t use her special power due to the trauma she was going through at the time.
Salman Khan’s Support
Salman Khan reminded Shrutika that Digvijay’s elimination was not her fault. Shrutika admitted that if her friends had advised her to choose the swap option, she would have done that. She also regretted not making that decision.
Friendship with Digvijay and Others
When asked if she could be friends with Digvijay outside the show, Shrutika said, “Of course, he is a very nice person.” She understood why Digvijay was distant and didn’t want to get too close to anyone on the show. Shrutika explained that her emotional guard had to be up to protect herself, but she made the first move to connect with Digvijay by following him on Instagram.
Her Friendship with Chum Darang
When asked about her friendship with Chum Darang, Shrutika said she understood that Chum had many priorities. She was okay with this because, in friendship, there shouldn’t be any expectations. Shrutika mentioned that she became emotionally attached to Chum because it was the first time she was living away from her family.
Bond with Karan Veer Mehra
Speaking about her bond with Karan Veer Mehra, Shrutika described their relationship as “Tom and Jerry” because they often disagreed but always made up in the end. She praised Karan for never holding grudges.
Thoughts on Vivian, Eisha, and Avinash
On the friendship between Vivian Dsena, Eisha Singh, and Avinash Mishra, Shrutika said Vivian is genuinely there for both of them, but Eisha and Avinash are more focused on each other. She believes that for Vivian, they are like role models.
