In the January 4 episode of Bigg Boss 18, it was Family Week, and Chum Darang’s mother came to visit her. As soon as she entered, the contestants, especially Avinash Mishra, Shrutika Arjun, and Shilpa Shirodkar, teased Karan Veer Mehra about his bond with Chum. Karan Veer Mehra and Chum Darang share the same bed. That night, Karan told Chum that he thought her mother was nice. Chum agreed but also said her mother is a little “dangerous.” Then, Karan asked Chum if her mother liked him. Chum didn’t give a direct answer and told Karan to ask her mother himself.
Later, Karan shared that Chum’s mother told him that she liked him. Chum laughed it off. When Karan asked her if her mother said anything about him or if she liked him, Chum replied, “No.” Karan was surprised and asked her why, but Chum didn’t respond.
For those who don’t know, Chum Darang and Karan Veer Mehra have formed a close bond inside the house, and Karan has confessed he likes her. However, Chum has said that the situation is “complicated.” She mentioned that she has been with someone for a long time and might go back to him once she leaves the house.
Meanwhile, Karan Veer Mehra has been married twice, but both marriages ended in divorce. He was married to his childhood sweetheart, Devika, for nine years before they parted ways in 2018. In 2021, Karan married actress Nidhi Seth, but their marriage ended in 2023 due to differences.
