Bigg Boss 18: Karan Veer Mehra Opens Up on Personal Struggles & Redemption

Bigg Boss 18: Karan Veer Mehra Opens Up About Struggles in the Game, Calls It ‘Redemption’

In the latest episode of Bigg Boss 18 on November 11, Karan Veer Mehra shared his feelings with Chum Darang and Shilpa Shirodkar, saying he feels like he has no one in the house to confide in.

The episode included intense arguments over ration and nominations, with tensions rising when Vivian Dsena demanded his coffee, sparking disagreements among the housemates. But a more personal moment came when Chum Darang and Karan had a deep talk about his struggles in the game.

Karan Veer Mehra Sees Bigg Boss 18 as ‘Redemption’

Karan, a previous winner of Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, has faced criticism for not actively sharing his opinions in the house. Host Salman Khan and guest Rohit Shetty recently told him he lacks a strong presence and spends too much time alone. He’s also been criticized for “gaslighting” others by talking behind their backs.

In a heartfelt moment, Karan explained to Chum and Shilpa, “I’m very aware that cameras are on me and that I’m on a show.” Reflecting on his past, he said, “I know I’ve troubled my mom a lot in my life. This is my chance for redemption, so I’m not holding back.”

Shilpa then asked him if there was anyone in the house he could openly express himself to. Karan replied, “I feel like there’s no one here I can talk to or debate with. There’s no one at my level of intellect.” He added that he avoids conversations with Avinash Mishra after a previous argument, calling Avinash a “nice guy” but not very genuine.

Karan Veer Mehra Feels Tired of Explaining Himself

Shilpa asked Karan what he thought they came to the show for, to which he replied, “We’re here to create relationships between characters, whether good or bad. If I find someone on my level, I’ll compete.”

This Week’s Nominations

In the recent nomination task, Vivian Dsena, acting as the “postman,” received calls from contestants who named those they wanted to nominate. Vivian had the power to accept or decline each nomination. In the end, Bigg Boss announced that Karan Veer Mehra, Chum Darang, Rajat Dalal, Tajinder Bagga, Shrutika Arjun, Kashish Kapoor, and Digvijay Rathee are nominated for the week.
