Bigg Boss 18: Kishwer Merchant Calls Show ‘Biased’ Over Recent Incident, Praises Shrutika
Former Bigg Boss 9 contestant Kishwer Merchant has voiced her opinion, saying she finds Bigg Boss 18 unfair in its handling of contestants. She shared her thoughts after watching a recent episode where housemates argued over the ration supply. Here’s what she had to say.
Kishwer, who is actively following the season, often shares her views on social media. In her latest post, she tweeted, “When Sara handed over the ration, Bigg Boss kept it in the storeroom, but when Avinash hid the ration, Bigg Boss didn’t say a word. Biased BB?” She also gave a shout-out to Shrutika, adding a clap emoji to her post.

In the October 31 episode, Shrutika returned peas to the storeroom after a disagreement over dinner plans. Earlier, the jail inmates handled ration distribution, but now they can only decide the menu. Rajat and Shrutika planned for dal and roti, but housemates had already decided on matar paneer. This annoyed Shrutika, who sent the peas back to the storeroom, and Bigg Boss accepted it. This led to a clash between Avinash Mishra and Shrutika.
Many viewers agreed with Kishwer, with one saying, “Bigg Boss is clearly showing favoritism toward certain contestants like Vivian, Esha, and Avinash, while portraying strong contenders like Rajat and Arfeen negatively.” Another added, “This season is totally biased because their favorite is Vivian. Anyone against him faces insults.”
Bigg Boss 18, hosted by Salman Khan, airs Monday to Friday at 10 PM on Colors TV, and on weekends at 9:30 PM. It also streams on JioCinema.
