Bigg Boss 18 Written Update, November 8: Ektaa Kapoor Criticizes Rajat Dalal for Fake Respect Toward Women
In the November 8 Shukravar Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 18, Ektaa Kapoor entered the house to give the contestants a reality check, especially calling out Rajat Dalal.
Ektaa directly questioned Rajat, saying, “You say you respect women. Whenever a girl faces trouble, you stand up and say, ‘No one will say anything against her.’ So, how can you use foul language about someone’s mother?”
Rajat tried to explain himself, saying, “Sometimes, in anger, a few things just slip out…” Ektaa interrupted, saying, “But losing your temper also costs you your respect.” She pointed out that while he claims to stand up for women, in his anger, he ends up disrespecting them. Rajat then asked which incident she was talking about.
Ektaa explained she had seen a video of him insulting a male contestant’s mother during an argument. Avinash Mishra agreed with her. Trying to defend himself, Rajat said, “If you provoke a regular person, he might get angry and use foul language. These people are stars, so maybe it’s different…”
Ektaa reminded him that respect isn’t just about being a star. Rajat continued, saying that in his environment, using strong language is normal, and the words he used were an expression of his emotions. He also said he had apologized publicly.
Ektaa pointed out that Rajat had mentioned his co-contestant’s family members twice, suggesting it wasn’t accidental. She added that in their culture, people deeply respect elders. She told him, “If you had taken my father’s name today, I would have entered the house to teach you to never drag anyone’s parents into arguments. To us, parents are like gods.”
She also gave feedback to Chaahat Pandey, Sara Khan, Shrutika Arjun, and Vivian Dsena.
For the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, filmmaker Rohit Shetty will host instead of Salman Khan. It airs at 9:30 PM on Colors TV.
