Popular TV actor Shoaib Ibrahim recently opened up about why he didn’t join Bigg Boss 18. Shoaib has a huge fan following, and every year, there are rumors that he might be a contestant on Salman Khan’s show. However, this season, he decided not to participate.
In a Q&A session on his Instagram, Shoaib shared his thoughts. He said, “I may be wrong, but I feel Bigg Boss has changed. It used to be a show about personality, but now, it’s more about content.” Shoaib explained, “Before, it was about showcasing who you are. Now, the more content you provide, the more you’re featured, and that’s how you move forward.”
He added, “I’ve said before that I’m not convinced about joining the show right now. Maybe in the future, if I feel differently, I might consider it.”
Shoaib also commented, “It feels like sometimes people are heavily favored or humiliated. There’s always something going on. Personalities aren’t really showcased; it’s all about content now. But maybe I’m wrong.”
During the Q&A, a fan asked when Boney Kapoor might cast him in a film, recalling a promise Boney made when he appeared on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11. Shoaib laughed and said, “I’m waiting for that too!”
For now, Shoaib is away from TV but stays connected with fans through his vlogs. His last TV appearance was on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11.
