Bigg Boss 6 star Sana Khan recently appeared on Rubina Dilaik’s show Kisine Bataya Nahi. The former actress opened up about her marriage, the changes in her life, and what it means to find true happiness. While talking, she also shared how she met her husband and revealed that he is younger than her.
Sana Khan told Rubina, “One day, a Maulana (a religious scholar) sent me a marriage proposal from Anas. At first, I thought, ‘How will this work?’ because my husband is almost 7 years younger than me. But he explained to me why we should get married.”
She also added, “I always thought Maulanas were very boring because I came from a very glamorous life. But when I heard Anas talking about a late friend with so much passion and wishing good for his soul, I asked myself, ‘Do I have even one friend who would wish this well for me after I’m gone?’ And I realized I didn’t. That was the first thing that attracted me to Anas.”
Sana also talked about how she met her husband during one of the hardest times in her life. “When I first met my husband, I was going through a really tough time,” she shared. She mentioned that she was battling depression and even had thoughts about ending her life. However, she said that she never acted on those thoughts because suicide is not allowed in Islam. Sana emphasized that her strong faith gave her the strength to keep going during those difficult moments.
For those who might not know, in October 2020, Sana Khan announced her decision to leave the entertainment industry and follow a spiritual path. She had a very successful career in the Hindi film industry and appeared in South Indian films too. After being part of Bigg Boss 6, she also worked a lot in the television industry.
