Former Bigg Boss 6 contestant Sana Khan’s husband, Anas Saiyad, visited a hospital to offer condolences to Baba Siddique’s family after his tragic death.
On Saturday, October 12, former Maharashtra Minister and senior NCP leader, Baba Siddique, was shot and killed by three unidentified people in Bandra East, Mumbai. Siddique was well-known for his connections with many Bollywood and television celebrities. During this tough time, several of them have shown support to his family, including Anas Saiyad, Sana Khan’s husband.
Sana Khan and Anas Saiyad often attended Baba Siddique’s yearly Iftar party in Mumbai. On the morning of October 12, Anas Saiyad was seen arriving at Cooper Hospital, carrying a pack of water bottles to show support for Siddique’s family.
Baba Siddique was initially taken to Lilavati Hospital after the attack, but doctors declared him dead on arrival. Later, his body was moved to Cooper Hospital for a post-mortem. Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the shooting. Bollywood stars such as Shilpa Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, and Salman Khan were among those who visited Lilavati Hospital. Many TV actors, like Aly Goni, Arjun Bijlani, Mahhi Vij, and Yuvika Chaudhary, also shared tributes to Siddique on social media.
Salman Khan, a close friend of Baba Siddique, has reportedly canceled the shooting of Bigg Boss 18’s Weekend Ka Vaar episode to mourn the loss. Both Salman and Shah Rukh Khan shared a deep bond with Siddique.
For those who don’t know, Sana Khan left the entertainment industry after marrying Anas Saiyad in 2020. She had a successful career in Hindi films and also appeared in South Indian movies. After being on Bigg Boss 6, she worked in the TV industry as well.
