Celebrity MasterChef: Nikki Tamboli Confident About Black Apron Challenge, Blames Gaurav Khanna for Failed Dishes
The new reality show Celebrity MasterChef is all about famous celebrities trying their hand at cooking. The show, which premiered just last week, has already grabbed a lot of attention—not just for the food, but also for the drama and chaos in the kitchen.
One of the contestants, Nikki Tamboli, who has struggled to impress the judges, now blames Gaurav Khanna for her failed dishes.
Nikki Tamboli’s Bold Claim
With the Black Apron Challenge coming up next week—where contestants fight to stay in the competition—Nikki is confident she will be safe. She believes she has worked hard since day one and deserves to stay. However, she feels that ever since she teamed up with Gaurav Khanna, her dishes have turned out badly. She strongly believes Gaurav is the reason for her poor performance.
Nikki said:
“I pour my heart and soul into every dish I create, and I’m truly proud of how I’m improving each day. However, it’s disheartening when I don’t get the recognition I deserve. I genuinely believe my food stands out.”
Will Nikki Survive the Challenge?
It remains to be seen whether Nikki can overcome the challenge and prepare a dish that meets her own expectations. Whenever she has been paired with Gaurav Khanna, the two have often ended up arguing in the kitchen.

It airs Monday to Friday at 8 PM on Sony TV and is judged by Ranveer Brar, Farah Khan, and Vikas Khanna.
While Ranveer Brar and Vikas Khanna are experienced judges on MasterChef, this is Farah Khan’s first time judging a cooking competition.
