Celebrity MasterChef Eviction: 79-Year-Old Usha Nadkarni Eliminated Before Semi-Final; Wants THIS Contestant to Win
The competition on Celebrity MasterChef is getting tougher as the show heads toward its grand finale. In the latest episode, veteran actress Usha Nadkarni was eliminated just before the semi-final. Her exit was emotional, and before leaving, she revealed that she wants Faisal Shaikh to win the show.
Usha Nadkarni’s Emotional Exit
This week, Usha Nadkarni and Tejasswi Prakash were in the bottom two. Chef Kunal Kapur, who appeared as a special guest, announced that Usha had been eliminated. Her exit left everyone emotional, especially Faisal Shaikh and Rajiv Adatia.
Faisal felt guilty because Usha had trusted his advice without hesitation, and now she was leaving. But Usha reassured him, saying she had chosen fish on her own and that she completely trusted his decision. Calling him “like a son,” she broke down in tears. Faisal, too, became emotional and lovingly called her “MasterChef ki Maa.”
Before leaving, Usha told Faisal that he must win the show.
Judges and Contestants Pay Tribute to Usha
Judge Ranveer Brar also got emotional as he bid farewell to Usha, saying, “I’ll miss you, Usha Tai.”
Meanwhile, Rajiv Adatia praised Usha’s dedication, pointing out that even though she is 79 years old, she was always on time and worked tirelessly. Calling her an inspiration, he led the contestants in blowing a whistle as a tribute to her. The farewell was heartfelt, and almost everyone was in tears.
