Charu Asopa Hits Back at Rajeev Sen Over Financial Struggles Claims

Charu Asopa Responds to Rajeev Sen’s Comments About Her Financial Struggles

Television actress Charu Asopa recently responded to her ex-husband, Rajeev Sen, who questioned her financial struggles. Charu, who shares a daughter named Ziana with Rajeev, had previously moved back to her hometown in Rajasthan due to the high cost of living in Mumbai. Rajeev had commented on her financial situation, and Charu hit back, saying that people who haven’t faced struggles in life find it easy to judge others.

In an interview with ETimes, Charu explained that people who have not experienced difficulties in life often make easy comments. She said, “People who haven’t seen hardships don’t understand how middle-class families arrange for loans. They don’t know what it’s like to struggle.” She added that Rajeev hasn’t experienced these realities, which makes it hard for him to understand her situation.

Charu also addressed Rajeev’s claim that she doesn’t allow him to meet their daughter Ziana. She said, “I don’t know why he’s saying that. I’ve been very involved with him and his family even after our divorce, and no one else would do that. I’ve tried to keep the relationship intact, and hearing such things now just makes me laugh.”

Charu responded to another accusation from Rajeev about her paying for a cruise trip with her family while talking about her financial struggles. She clarified that the trip was not a personal expense. She explained that it was part of a collaboration, and she didn’t pay anything for the stay. Charu also shared that she had been selling clothes for the past year to make ends meet, but only spoke about her financial struggles publicly after a viral video attracted media attention.

Charu also mentioned that she didn’t want to turn her personal life into a public spectacle. She explained how these situations often lead to unnecessary drama, with one person speaking out and the other responding. She acknowledged that family conflicts are common but said it’s sad how they are often exposed to the public.

Charu explained that she returned to Mumbai only to take her belongings, especially expensive ones. She made it clear that she wasn’t swimming in money and wanted to dispel any misconceptions about her financial situation.

Finally, Charu expressed her disappointment at people dragging others into her personal issues. She asked that people stop making baseless comments about Rajeev, his sister Sushmita Sen, or their families. She said it’s wrong to profit from others’ pain and that it’s disheartening to see such things happening.
