Charu Asopa Moves Into New House With Daughter Amid Ongoing Issues With Ex-Husband Rajeev Sen; Shares Griha Pravesh Video

Charu Asopa has moved into a new home in Rajasthan with her daughter Ziana. This comes during a time when she’s been having problems with her ex-husband, Rajeev Sen. The actress shared a video of her griha pravesh (housewarming) ceremony on Instagram.

In the video, Charu shows a glimpse of the pooja (ritual) and her daughter Ziana also taking part in it. Charu looked beautiful in a traditional earthy-colored outfit, while little Ziana wore a cute blue ethnic dress. Charu captioned the video, “Nanhe kadmon ke saath grahpravesh” (House entry with little footsteps).

Charu recently revealed in one of her vlogs that she bought a house in her hometown, Bikaner, Rajasthan. She moved there because living in Mumbai was too expensive. She shared that she was spending around ₹1 to ₹1.5 lakh every month in Mumbai, which became hard to manage, especially since she is not working in daily soaps right now.

Charu was earlier married to Rajeev Sen, who is actress Sushmita Sen’s brother. The couple got married in 2019 and later had a daughter, Ziana. However, their relationship soon faced problems. Charu removed Rajeev’s surname from her social media, and both started speaking publicly about their issues. Eventually, they got divorced but stayed on friendly terms for the sake of their daughter.

After the divorce, Ziana stayed with Charu. Rajeev and Charu would still meet to spend time with their daughter, but lately, things have not been the same. Rajeev recently said that he hasn’t seen Ziana since January. He tried visiting her in Bikaner but claimed Charu didn’t respond. Even though Charu now says he’s welcome anytime, Rajeev feels that his efforts are being ignored.

Rajeev also commented on Charu’s claims of facing financial problems. He said that despite her saying this, she recently went on a cruise trip with her brother and sister-in-law. He added that the team of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai paid for everyone’s tickets, which doesn’t match with someone going through money issues.

Despite all the drama, Charu has now settled in Rajasthan with Ziana and plans to stay there.

On the work front, Charu Asopa has been seen in popular TV shows like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, and others.
