Crime Patrol Actress Shabreen Arrested for Kidnapping Her Lover’s Nephew
On Sunday, October 20, Maharashtra police arrested actress Shabreen for allegedly kidnapping a three-and-a-half-year-old boy from Palghar district. The boy’s uncle, Brijesh Singh, was reportedly her lover, and his family was against their relationship due to community differences. Upset with this, Shabreen took a drastic step.
Shabreen, who acted in the popular TV series Crime Patrol, kidnapped the boy, Prince, from his school. According to the police, she went to the school on Saturday morning and told the staff she was taking him for a medical emergency. Since Prince knew her, he went along without any suspicion.
Senior officer Jayaraj Ranawane told ANI, “Shabreen was so obsessed with Brijesh that she lost control over her actions, despite acting in crime shows like ‘Crime Patrol’ based on real incidents.”
When Prince didn’t come home by the afternoon, his family contacted the school and found out that he had left with a woman claiming to be taking him to the doctor. The family immediately contacted the police.
The police reviewed CCTV footage and saw Shabreen taking the boy in an auto-rickshaw with another woman. After questioning the rickshaw driver, they found out that Shabreen had been dropped off in Naigaon. Witnesses identified her from photos, and the police tracked her mobile phone, eventually arresting her in Bandra.
During the investigation, police found Prince in a flat in Naigaon and rescued him. Shabreen was taken into custody. Authorities are also looking into whether Brijesh was involved in the kidnapping and are searching for the other woman who helped Shabreen.
