On August 7, Dalljiet Kaur posted a short video showing the matching tattoos she shares with Nikhil Patel. In the video, she zoomed in on the tattoo during her mehendi ceremony at their wedding. She also included a photo of their passports taken when they left India after getting married.
The tattoo on Kaur’s leg features a clapperboard with the words “TAKE 2” and the date “07/09/22.” However, it was her touching caption that grabbed the most attention. She wrote, “A tattoo that represented strength to fall in love again. Strength to trust again. Strength to leave the country and wrap up everything for love and a hope to have the family that me and Jaydon craved so much for.”
She explained that this was her second marriage after nine years, and ‘TAKE 2’ symbolized giving herself another chance to call someone her husband and for her son to feel what having a father would be like.

Despite the heartbreak, the Nach Baliye 4 winner mentioned she plans to redesign her tattoo and is optimistic about finding new designs.

For those who don’t know, Dalljiet Kaur and Nikhil Patel dated for a year before announcing their relationship in February 2023. They got married on March 10, 2023, and moved to Kenya. Nikhil has two daughters, Aariyana (13) and Aanika (8), from a previous marriage, and Dalljiet has a son, Jaydon.
