Doug says he might talk to Melinda, but Holly tells him to speak with Tate’s grandfather instead—John, who is a private investigator. John was expected to come home that night. Doug thinks about it and says he might call later.
Meanwhile, Marlena and Gabi are celebrating Arianna’s birthday. Marlena brings up how sad it is that Will and Sonny aren’t there, as they had planned a party back home. Arianna quickly changes the topic.
