The June 10 episode of Days of Our Lives was an emotional one, as the people of Salem gathered to say their final goodbye to John Black. While the town paid tribute to him, Bo Brady discovered the truth about John’s passing and struggled with the news.
Salem Comes Together to Honor John
The funeral took place in a peaceful garden, where close friends and family arrived to pay their respects. Chanel and Tate talked quietly about their adoption journey, with Tate sharing they still haven’t found the right match. Johnny informed Marlena that a livestream was ready for those who couldn’t attend in person. When Marlena asked about his tension with EJ, Johnny chose to focus on the day and said John was a truly good and honorable man.
Nearby, Steve and Abe remembered their shared adventures with John and how much they trusted him. As the service was about to begin, Eric called everyone to attention. But Rachel, overwhelmed with emotion, said she wasn’t ready to say goodbye. He insisted on attending the funeral, even though he’s still recovering. Hope and his doctor gently told him it was too risky. Although frustrated, Bo agreed to stay behind for his health.
