Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) has been a hit thanks to its entertaining format and the charismatic host, Amitabh Bachchan. Over the years, many celebrities have appeared on the show, sharing interesting stories and engaging in playful banter with Big B.
In season 13 of KBC, Deepika Padukone and Farah Khan were special guests. During the episode, Deepika shared a light-hearted complaint about her husband, Ranveer Singh, with Amitabh Bachchan.
Deepika told Big B, “My husband promised me years ago that he would make breakfast for me. And he still hasn’t done it. Whenever I ask him when he’ll make it, he says he’s busy or has a shoot. Have you ever cooked, sir?”
Big B responded humorously that he can only boil an egg. Farah Khan then asked if he had ever boiled an egg for his wife, Jaya Bachchan. Amitabh jokingly said, “I’m sure I’m going to get a beating today” and asked them to drop the topic.
Later, Amitabh called Ranveer Singh and told him about Deepika’s complaint. This led to a playful exchange between Ranveer and Deepika. Ranveer claimed he has exceeded his pre-marriage promises and should win the “Husband of the Year” award.
Deepika said she would make the decision herself. Ranveer then promised that, under Big B’s orders, he would now cook an omelette for Deepika. He humorously added, “Now I will sit you on my lap and feed you an omelette.” Farah Khan joked that Big B only asked Ranveer to cook an omelette, not to make Deepika sit on his lap.
