Delnaaz Irani Mourns Vikas Sethi’s Sudden Death: ‘Met Him Just 3 Months Ago, Can’t Believe He’s Gone

The death of television actor Vikas Sethi has deeply saddened his colleagues and friends in the industry. His last rites were held in Mumbai today, with attendees including Hiten Tejwani, Jaswir Kaur, Mehul Nisar, Sharad Kelkar, and Shabir Ahluwalia. Delnaaz Irani, who worked with Vikas on an advertisement three months ago, has shared her shock at his passing.

Delnaaz, who had known Vikas for over a decade, said, “I just heard from a friend that Vikas is no more. It’s extremely shocking and sad. I first met Vikas in 2008 when we did a dance show called Zara Nachke Dikha.”

Although they lost touch after the show, they reconnected recently while working together on a commercial. Delnaaz added, “It was great to catch up after so many years. I also met his wife during that time. I don’t know why he passed away, but he seemed fine when we met. This news is very shocking. I hope his family finds strength during this difficult time. Life is so unpredictable.”

Vikas Sethi was known for his roles in TV shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahii To Hogi, and Kasautii Zindagi Kay. He also appeared as Kareena Kapoor’s best friend in the film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.

Reports say that the 48-year-old actor suffered a cardiac arrest and died in his sleep. His wife, Jhanvi Sethi, mentioned that although he had felt unwell the night before, he refused to go to the hospital. They were out of Mumbai for a wedding at the time. On Sunday morning, when Jhanvi went to wake him, she found that he had passed away. The doctor confirmed that he died of a cardiac arrest in his sleep.
