Did Shehzada Dhami Take a Dig at Rajan Shahi Over Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Remarks? Arjit Taneja Backs Him
Recently, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai producer Rajan Shahi shared his thoughts on replacing the lead actors of the show’s fourth generation. His comments seemed to stir up a reaction from Shehzada Dhami, who took to social media to express his views.
Shehzada Dhami, who was removed from YRKKH alongside co-star Pratiksha Honmukhe, posted a note on his Instagram story that read, “Are koi isko doctor ke pass le ke jao yaar (Someone please take him to a doctor).”
Actor Arjit Taneja also stepped into the conversation. On an Instagram post addressing Rajan Shahi’s remarks about the lead actors, Arjit commented, “That’s one side of the story. And how come all the actors are wrong and he is a saint? Because actors are an easy target and this guy is GOD!!”
In a recent interview, Rajan Shahi discussed the decision to replace Shehzada and Pratiksha. Although he didn’t directly name them, he claimed that some actors showed disrespectful behavior towards crew members like makeup artists, spot boys, and associate directors. Shahi emphasized that such behavior is unacceptable on his sets.
The controversy comes on the heels of another incident involving actress Alisha Parveen, who was removed from Anupamaa. Alisha had alleged that the decision to replace her was made without prior notice, and she was let go overnight.
While Shahi admitted to replacing an actor on Anupamaa, he refrained from naming Alisha or discussing the details, citing respect for the actor’s dignity.
This latest drama highlights the ongoing tension between actors and producers in the television industry, raising questions about communication and treatment on set.
