Even though the event is only hours away, Diljit shared on Instagram that he hasn’t made up his mind about his outfit. In a playful post, he asked fans, “MET Gala. Ki Paiye Fer?” (What should I wear?)

Shortly after that, he posted a video on his Instagram Stories showing off his MET Gala invitation. He also shared a look at a beautiful tray of desserts sent to his hotel room to welcome him. In the video, Diljit joked that he has received many wedding cards in his life, but this is the one card he was truly excited about.

The invitation included details like the name of the honorary chair and co-chair of the event. It also mentioned that phones and recording devices are not allowed inside the museum. The dress code was described as “Tailored For You,” with the theme “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.”

In his funny style, Diljit added that the organizers were sending buckets of champagne to his room—but since there’s no one to drink it with him, the ice is just melting away! He laughed it off, saying the team is really taking good care of him.
