Pankit Thakker and Wife Prachi Finalize Divorce After 20 Years of Marriage
Television actor Pankit Thakker, best known for his role in Dill Mill Gayye, has always impressed fans with his talent. However, this time, he is in the news for a personal reason. Reports confirm that Pankit and his wife Prachi have officially ended their marriage of 20 years. While the couple has been living separately since 2015, their divorce was finalized earlier this month in December 2024. The couple first announced their separation in 2016.
As per Etimes, a source close to the matter confirmed the news, but both Pankit and Prachi have chosen not to comment. When contacted, Prachi declined to discuss her personal life, saying she preferred to keep it private.
For those unaware, Pankit and Prachi tied the knot on September 11, 2000. Their marriage faced numerous challenges over the years, including family disapproval and their age gap. Despite these hurdles, they tried to work through their differences. The couple even sought professional counseling to mend their relationship and build a stronger bond.
In 2021, Pankit shared details about their journey, revealing that they had tried every possible way to save their marriage but ultimately found peace living apart. He said, “We have been living separately since 2015, and now both of us are in a better place, happy in our lives. We still respect each other, and everything is clear between us.”
On the work front, Pankit Thakker has been part of popular shows like Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Sahelii, Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan, Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant, and Barsatein – Mausam Pyaar Ka. Meanwhile, Prachi has appeared in shows like Kasautii Zindagii Kay and Neeli Chatri Waale.
This news marks the end of a long chapter in their lives, with both Pankit and Prachi focusing on their individual happiness and growth moving forward.
