When Dipika Kakar Shared Her Diet and Healthy Lifestyle Tips With Fans
Dipika Kakar, a well-known TV actress, is currently going through a tough time as she has been diagnosed with stage two liver cancer. Doctors found a tumor the size of a tennis ball in her liver. After she shared the news, fans, co-stars, and celebrities sent her lots of love and support.

Morning Routine (Before Breakfast):
Dipika starts her day by taking her thyroid medicine, about 30 minutes after waking up. Then, she drinks lukewarm water with lemon. This helps with detoxing the body. Although she says apple cider vinegar can also help, she prefers lemon because vinegar sometimes causes her bloating.
Breakfast:
Dipika keeps her breakfast light. She usually has a cup of tea with two toasted biscuits. After breakfast, she takes her multivitamins and eats a seasonal fruit.
She talks about the importance of vitamin C for the immune system and says people over 30 should start taking calcium tablets for bone strength. She also takes fish oil tablets for heart health. But Dipika advises everyone to check with a doctor before starting any supplements.
Lunch and Dinner:
For lunch and dinner, Dipika eats healthy and balanced meals. Her plate usually includes:
- Mixed vegetables
- Dal without tadka (no spicy tempering)
- Jowar roti (millet flatbread)
- Homemade curd
She drinks warm water or green tea 2 to 3 times a day to stay hydrated. Dipika says drinking enough fluids is key to staying healthy.
She is against removing salt completely from the diet and says it’s okay to have a small amount of salt. She also supports eating small portions instead of large meals. Dipika believes homemade curd has many health benefits.
She also stresses the need to drink 4 to 6 liters of water daily, eat fruits regularly, stay physically active, get 8 hours of sleep, and keep stress low to live a healthy life.
