Shoaib Ibrahim’s Sister Saba Shares Update on Dipika Kakar’s Stage 2 Liver Cancer Surgery: “She Has to Be Very Careful”
Dipika Kakar, known for her role in Sasural Simar Ka, recently had surgery after being diagnosed with stage 2 liver cancer. Her health news shocked many, but her family has now shared some positive updates.
🙏 Saba Ibrahim Talks About a Tough Time
In her latest vlog, Shoaib Ibrahim’s sister, Saba Ibrahim, talked about how difficult the past week has been for their family. While sharing a glimpse of her newborn baby’s Aqeeqah (a Muslim naming ceremony), she also gave updates on Dipika’s condition.
Saba revealed that the Aqeeqah took place before Dipika was admitted to the hospital. Once Dipika was hospitalized, the entire family went through a very emotional and stressful time. “The day of bhabhi’s surgery was very hard,” Saba said. “But I want to thank each and every one of you for your prayers.”
😊 Dipika Out of ICU, Recovering Well
Thanks to everyone’s prayers and blessings, Dipika’s surgery went well. Saba shared that Dipika is now out of the ICU and she even got to speak with her after the operation. Knowing that Dipika is feeling better has given the family some relief.
Saba added that this Eid was extra special because it was their newborn’s first Eid. However, they decided not to celebrate it on a big scale because of Dipika’s condition.
👶 Newborn’s Naming Ceremony Will Be Simple
Saba also mentioned that they were planning to hold a small and simple naming ceremony for the baby. The family is being extra careful because of Dipika’s health.
“Bhabhi had a major surgery,” Saba said. “Even after coming home, she will stay indoors. She needs to avoid any risk of infection and be very careful. That’s why she won’t be able to come upstairs either.”
Because of this, they’ve decided to keep the celebration quiet and simple.
🏥 Shoaib Shares the Good News
Earlier, on June 6, Shoaib Ibrahim had shared in his vlog that Dipika had been shifted out of the ICU after her surgery, which was done on June 3. He also thanked fans for their constant support.
The family is hopeful about Dipika’s recovery and grateful for all the love and prayers coming their way.
