Disha’s Tips for Keeping Little Ones Engaged

Disha keeps her daughter, Navya, entertained with fun mealtime routines, involving the whole family in dancing and singing. She also uses a range of toys to stimulate Navya’s interest. For a bit of screen time, she allows Navya to watch 10 minutes of Cocomelon every other day, balancing entertainment with other activities.

Choosing the Right Diaper

Disha knows that finding the right diaper can be challenging. After trying different brands, she found that Pampers All Round Protection Pants worked best for Navya, keeping her skin dry and free from rashes. Her advice? Try a few brands until you find one that suits your baby’s skin, as each baby is different.

Supporting Teething Health

For Navya’s teething needs, Disha follows her doctor’s guidance instead of using gripe water. Since Navya was three months old, she’s been giving her calcium, zinc, and iron supplements to support healthy growth. Disha recommends consulting a pediatrician to ensure the best health care for young children.

Feeding Babies without Screen Time

Disha’s daughter isn’t a picky eater, which Disha attributes to introducing a variety of foods early on. “I gave her everything—broccoli, spinach, carrot, eggs… now she eats okra, cauliflower, dal, and rice.” For parents, Disha suggests starting with naturally sweet foods like sweet potato, apple puree, or banana, which babies tend to enjoy.

Setting a Sleep Routine

The Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 actress shared that Navya has a good sleep schedule, sleeping through the night and taking 1-2 naps during the day. To help her settle down, Disha plays the Gayatri mantra, which Navya loves, along with Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.

For those who don’t know, Disha and her husband, Rahul Vaidya, welcomed their daughter, Navya, in September 2023. The couple often shares cute updates and moments with Navya on social media, keeping fans connected to their family journey.
