Divya Agarwal Reveals She Wants to Get Married Again – Here’s Why!
Bigg Boss OTT winner Divya Agarwal, who married businessman Apurva Padgaonkar earlier this year, made an interesting revelation in an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla. Divya expressed her wish to have another wedding—but there’s a heartwarming reason behind it!
The Unique Purple Lehenga
Divya’s wedding caught everyone’s attention because of her unconventional purple bridal lehenga. During the interview, she opened up about her bridal outfit and explained why she chose purple for her special day. She also wore a Mundavalya, a traditional Maharashtrian head ornament for brides, which was gifted by her husband Apurva’s cousin.
Why Another Wedding?
While talking about her wedding, Divya shared that if she had known she would wear the Mundavalya, she would have chosen a traditional Nauvari saree instead of a lehenga. Now, she dreams of getting married again as a proper Maharashtrian bride.
Divya said with a smile, “Ye wali thodi bhagam-douri mein ho gayi. Ab shanti se wapas shaadi karni hai. Next time, I’ll wear a Nauvari saree. Lehengas are done for me now!” (This wedding was a bit rushed and chaotic. Now I want a calm and peaceful wedding. And next time, I’ll wear a Nauvari saree. One lehenga is enough for me!).
A Carefree Bride
Divya also called herself a “careless bride,” saying she didn’t stress about her wedding and just wanted to enjoy the moment. She shared, “Kuch bhi karungi, mein tension nahi lungi. Is cheez ko dil se enjoy karungi. To me, marriage is all about getting married to the right man.” (Whatever I do, I won’t stress. I’ll enjoy it with all my heart. For me, the most important thing is marrying the right person).
A Beautiful Start
For those who don’t know, Divya and Apurva had a traditional and intimate wedding on February 20, 2024. Even though things were done last minute, Divya cherished every moment and now looks forward to celebrating her love again in a more serene way.
