In a heartfelt chat with Hindi Rush, popular TV actress Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya talked about her special bond with producer Ektaa Kapoor. Divyanka, who has worked on several projects with Ektaa, revealed why she holds deep respect for her.
A Bond Built on Respect
Speaking about their relationship, Divyanka shared, “Humara respect ka bond hai (We share a bond of respect). I don’t know what Ektaa thinks about me, but I know she respects my work. And to be honest, I never get tired of praising her.”
She went on to praise Ektaa’s creativity, saying, “Creatively, she is like an ocean. Whenever I’ve heard her narrate a story, it’s so passionate and vivid. Her narrations bring the entire world alive. You understand your character completely, its emotions and expressions. When the narration is that good, it makes an actor’s job much easier.”
Admiration for Ektaa Kapoor’s Journey
Divyanka also spoke about how difficult it is for women to sustain themselves in the industry. She said, “Being a successful businesswoman in this industry is not easy. Everywhere, women have to prove themselves more. While men are rarely questioned for their weaknesses, women are often criticized for the same. But Ektaa has done so well and built an empire. I have dil se respect for her.”
Balaji’s Unique Culture
Divyanka also highlighted how special it is to work under Ektaa’s production house, Balaji Telefilms. “The kind of pampering actors receive at Balaji—trust me, you won’t see it anywhere else. Pampering in terms of love and respect. I’ve always seen immense respect there,” she said.
A Memorable Partnership
