After becoming parents on October 22, 2024, Drashti Dhami and Neeraj Khemka have finally shared the name of their baby girl with their fans. The couple posted a heartwarming update on social media, revealing that they have named their daughter Leela.
Drashti shared a sweet post where her hand is holding her baby’s tiny feet, with Neeraj’s hand next to it. She captioned the photo, “Say hello to Leela | लीला | لیلا.” The name Leela has several beautiful meanings, including “divine play,” “creation of God,” “joy,” “comfort,” “beauty,” and “grace.”
After the announcement, Drashti’s fans, friends, and followers flooded her post with love. Celebrities like Jankee Parekh Mehta commented, “Hello baby doll,” Mouni Roy called her “Beautiful,” and Sanaya Irani said, “Hello googy.” Many other stars, including Sumona Chakravarti, Arjit Taneja, Sunayana Fozdar, Anusha Dandekar, and Sehban Azim, also expressed their love for the little one.
Since becoming parents, Drashti and Neeraj have shared only a few glimpses of their daughter but haven’t shown her face yet.
