Will Elvish Yadav Be Removed from Laughter Chefs 2 Over His ‘Racial’ Comment on Chum Darang? FWICE Demands Action
Social media personality Elvish Yadav is once again in trouble. With multiple cases filed against him, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has now taken a strong stance. They have demanded his removal from the cooking reality show Laughter Chefs 2.
FWICE Demands Elvish Yadav’s Removal
Elvish Yadav has been part of many controversies in recent times. Despite this, he continues to appear on popular reality shows like Laughter Chefs 2 and MTV Roadies XX. However, FWICE is now pushing for action against him.
BN Tiwari, the President of FWICE, has written a letter to the channel airing Laughter Chefs 2, urging them to remove Elvish from the show.
The Reason Behind the Controversy
BN Tiwari’s letter strongly opposed Elvish Yadav’s participation in the show. He stated,
“We strongly condemn the promotion of Mr. Elvish Yadav. As you know, he made racial comments against Bigg Boss 18 contestant Chum Darang and has faced serious backlash on social media.”
The letter also mentioned multiple legal cases against Elvish. These include his involvement in the alleged snake venom case and rave party case. He has even been charged under the Wildlife Act in Noida for allegedly arranging snake venom at rave parties.
FWICE’s Concerns Over Elvish’s Influence
FWICE is concerned about the influence Elvish has on his young followers. They believe his actions promote illegal activities. BN Tiwari wrote,
“Elvish Yadav is widely followed by the youth, and his actions set a bad example. We strongly condemn his behavior, as it goes against the welfare of society and the values of our country.”
Due to this, FWICE has urged the channel to cut all ties with Elvish Yadav. Their statement read,
“We strongly object to Colors Channel promoting Elvish Yadav. We request you to discontinue your association with him for the betterment of society. We hope you understand the seriousness of the matter and take immediate action.”
Will Laughter Chefs 2 Remove Elvish Yadav?
So far, the channel airing Laughter Chefs 2 has not responded to FWICE’s demand. It remains to be seen whether they will take action against Elvish.
For those who don’t know, Elvish has been involved in several controversies before. However, his recent racist and offensive remarks about Chum Darang have caused massive outrage. The Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women (APSCW) has also criticized his comments.
Currently, Elvish Yadav remains part of Laughter Chefs 2 and continues to appear as a gang leader on MTV Roadies XX. It will be interesting to see how this situation unfolds.
