Bigg Boss 18 EXCLUSIVE: Gunratan Sadavarte on How He Will Handle Conflicts in the House
In an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla, Gunratan Sadavarte talked about how he plans to handle chaos and conflicts inside the Bigg Boss 18 house.
Gunratan Sadavarte, an advocate, joined Bigg Boss 18 and quickly became the center of attention with his sense of humor. However, in a recent episode, he lost his temper when Bigg Boss sent him to jail after three contestants voted for it. Before entering the house, he spoke with Pinkvilla about his approach to handling conflicts.
When asked how he would deal with challenges inside the house, Gunratan explained that he is a calm person who believes in discussions rather than aggression.
What made you, as a lawyer and activist, join a show like Bigg Boss 18?
Gunratan replied, “Today, Bigg Boss is watched by families everywhere, so I don’t think it’s a controversial show. But one thing is certain, the show’s ratings might change the way Bigg Boss is perceived.”
The Bigg Boss house is known for intense situations and conflicts. How do you plan to handle emotional and social challenges inside?
He explained, “I don’t believe in arguments or using offensive words. I believe in expressing opinions and having discussions. This approach will help me stay focused, and I think it will take me far in the game.”
By ‘destination,’ do you mean winning the show or discovering something new about yourself?
Gunratan answered, “Personal growth doesn’t happen in just 13 weeks; it comes from your upbringing and values. As for Bigg Boss 18, I feel the contestants and the theme are different this time—more about the future—and I believe the show’s character will change.”
You’ve been involved in many movements. What do you want to show viewers besides your legal and activist work?
He said, “I want to show that patience, balance, and entertainment without offending anyone can still be fun. I also want to show the actor in me.”
Are you worried about how people will react to you, either positively or negatively, after the show?
Gunratan responded, “I’m not worried about whether the reaction is positive or negative. It’s all about how people think and their perspective.”
