Ganesh Chaturthi, one of the biggest festivals in India, has everyone in a festive mood. Celebrities, along with millions of devotees, are busy welcoming Lord Ganesha into their homes. Some of the well-known stars celebrating this year include Ankita Lokhande, Bharti Singh, and Arjun Bijlani, among others. They welcomed Lord Ganesha on the evening of September 6.
Ankita Lokhande, known for her deep devotion to Lord Ganesha, was seen with her mother buying a Ganesh idol for their home. Ankita, dressed in a maroon kurti, chose the idol with care, adding to the festive spirit. You can check out her video here:
Smriti Irani, actress-turned-politician, also shared a picture of Lord Ganesha at her home. She captioned it with a heartfelt message: “He comes home to bless us, he lives in our hearts, he rules our minds, he brings peace, he gives hope… Vighnaharta. Blessed are those who follow his path and seek him in all aspects of life.”
Television actor Arjun Bijlani embraced the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations by bringing Lord Ganesha home. Arjun and his wife Neha Swami were seen in traditional outfits, performing a puja before taking the idol home. Chanting “Ganpati Bappa Morya,” Arjun joyfully carried Bappa to his car. For Arjun and his family, celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi has become an annual tradition, with many celebrities visiting his home to join in the festivities.
Comedian Bharti Singh was spotted with her son Golla, selecting their Ganesh idol at the market. Known for her down-to-earth personality, Bharti chatted with photographers while picking up the idol. Devoleena Bhattacharjee, who is expecting a baby, shared a video of her and her husband preparing to welcome Lord Ganesha into their home. She captioned it, “Welcoming Bappa into our home with open hearts and joyous spirits!”
Earlier in the day, Bigg Boss OTT 3 star Vishal Pandey was also seen bringing home a Ganesh idol. Bigg Boss 16 contestant Tina Datta welcomed Lord Ganesha into her home with a big smile, wearing an all-white outfit for the special day.
Other celebrities like Jay Bhanushali, Krishna Abhishek, Karan Wahi, and Mohhit Malik are also taking part in the celebrations. Some even handcraft their own Ganesh idols from clay, adding a personal touch to the festival.
