Kashmera Shah Visits Uncle Govinda in Hospital After Accidental Shooting
On the morning of October 1, actor Govinda accidentally shot himself in the leg while trying to put away his revolver. He was quickly taken to the hospital, where his niece-in-law, Kashmera Shah, came to see him.
In a surprising incident, Bollywood actor Govinda was rushed to the hospital early this morning after his gun accidentally went off. The bullet hit just below his knee. Govinda is now in the ICU and has undergone surgery. When Kashmera Shah heard the news, she visited him at the hospital.
Our photographers spotted Kashmera Shah arriving at CritiCare Hospital, where Govinda is being treated. She didn’t say anything and went straight inside. For those who don’t know, Krushna Abhishek, Govinda’s nephew and Kashmera’s husband, is currently in Australia for live shows.
Here’s the video showing Kashmera Shah at the hospital:
The accident happened around 4:45 a.m. when Govinda was putting his revolver away before leaving for Kolkata. According to his manager, the revolver fell to the floor and fired accidentally, hitting Govinda below the knee. He was rushed to the hospital, and doctors successfully removed the bullet during surgery.
Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, wasn’t in Mumbai when the accident happened, but she plans to head straight to the hospital when she returns. Their daughter, Tina Ahuja, is with her father and shared that all test reports are normal, and her father is out of danger. However, he will stay in the ICU for 24 hours.
As for Krushna Abhishek and Kashmera Shah’s relationship with Govinda, it’s been getting better since Govinda attended Arti Singh’s wedding to give her his blessings, ending a long-standing family feud. Recently, though, Sunita Ahuja mentioned that she still doesn’t get along with Kashmera and Krushna. She even said she would have replaced Archana Puran Singh on The Great Indian Kapil Show if Krushna wasn’t part of it.
In case you missed it, back in 2018, Kashmera Shah posted a tweet on X (formerly known as Twitter) about “people who dance for money.” Sunita Ahuja felt this was aimed at Govinda, which started a family feud that lasted for a long time.
