Was Gurucharan Singh Unprofessional on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah Sets? Here’s What He Said
Gurucharan Singh, who played Roshan Singh Sodhi in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has been in the news recently due to his health issues. Along with that, several rumors about his work and lifestyle have been circulating. One of them claimed that he was unprofessional on the sets of Asit Modi’s show. Now, the actor has spoken up about it.
Gurucharan Singh Reacts to the Allegations
In a conversation with ETimes, Gurucharan said he was angry and upset after reading reports that accused him of being unprofessional. He had been part of the show for over a decade and had always worked with dedication.
“Even when I had a broken back and was in the hospital, I continued working. Hearing such things about me during a tough time was very upsetting,” he shared.
He also said that spirituality helped him deal with the situation. Since the report did not mention any source, he decided to contact the makers of the show. He tried reaching Asit Modi, but when he couldn’t, he spoke to the show’s creative head, Sohail.
He Asked for a Public Clarification
Gurucharan directly asked Sohail if anything like this had ever happened on set. He also told him, “You will have to do a live session with me and confirm that I am a professional actor. Otherwise, I will assume the news came from you.”
Sohail agreed and went live with him, clearing the air about the false claims. Gurucharan added, “For me, work is like worship.”
