Mahesh Babu’s blockbuster film Pokiri has just completed 19 years since its release in 2006, and fans are still celebrating the iconic action movie. While Mahesh is busy with his upcoming film SSMB29, this special moment from the past is getting a lot of love online.

Among the many messages from fans, one stood out—his wife, Namrata Shirodkar, shared a heartfelt post to mark the occasion. She posted a rare photo of Mahesh from the Pokiri sets on her Instagram stories, along with a sweet message. She wrote, “Pandugadu never gets old @urstrulymahesh,” showing how proud she is of his work in the film.

For those who don’t know, Pokiri was directed by Puri Jagannadh and was released on April 28, 2006. It became a huge hit and gained cult status. The movie was so successful that it was later remade in Tamil, starring Thalapathy Vijay, and in Hindi as Wanted, featuring Salman Khan.

As for Mahesh Babu’s current work, he is deep into shooting his next big project, SSMB29, directed by the famous SS Rajamouli. He’s working hard for the role and has adopted a rugged new look, complete with a heavy beard and a stronger build.

The film has already begun shooting, with major scenes filmed across various locations in India. Recently, some footage from the Odisha shoot was leaked, but the production team acted quickly to stop any further leaks and keep the movie’s details private.

SSMB29 also stars Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in important roles. While the movie’s official title hasn’t been announced yet, it is expected to release sometime next year.
